Harry Lamont Teel, better known as “Mont” was born to Harry L. Teel and Leslie Clayborne on November 2, 1987 in Mebane, North Carolina.

As a young child Mont was independent, always willing to try something new, even if he knew better. This fearless and daring spirit grew with age.

Mont grew into a loving, charismatic and reckless at times young man.  In the 10th grade Mont decided to drop out of High School, despite disapproval from his family. Due to some of his choices he made, Mont would spend spurts of time away from his family as a teenager and young adult.

Even with the hard exterior that Mont had to build to sustain himself, he was still known as a “Momma’s Boy”, Mont loved his Momma, she held a special place in his heart.  He also knew how to be a Man’s man with his father. One of the ways they would bond was to work on car.  Mont loved fast and pretty cars. As a brother, he fiercely protected his siblings, especially his sister’s, making friends and dating was no easy task. As a father, Mont loved “all” of his children and it was extremely important that they all knew and loved each other.  He wanted to have a vital presence their lives. As a Man, Mont was hard, street savvy, had a way with the ladies, funny and grew to be humble and chill.

Over the years Mont’s life’s experiences polished his independence, leadership qualities, fearlessness and natural curiosity.  He became an entrepreneur; his most recent endeavor was his “Bandobaby” clothing apparel for all ages.  Inspired by his children.  Mont was a member of “Crown Vic Boys” and “Real 1 Certified” car clubs.  He enjoyed and was very proud of his accomplishments in racing, tricking out and maintaining his cars.  His current car was a Dodge Charger.  The club has competed in several shows in Greensboro, South Carolina and Atlanta just to name a few.  They also orchestrated Fundraiser’s at Christmas to give back to the community.

Mont never met a stranger, had a zest for life and stayed true to himself.

His mantra will continue to echo in the hearts of those he loved.

Mont is survived by; Parents: Harry L.
